About IELTS Road to 9

A free Academic IELTS course in English and Uzbek, from your first letter to band 9.

What it is
Seven levels, from band 0–2.5 to band 8–9. Each lesson teaches one IELTS method, lets you practise it at once and explains why every answer is right or wrong. The course is still being written: every level shows how many of its lessons are ready.
What is free
Every lesson’s guide is open to everyone, and Lessons 1–3 of every level open completely without an account. The other exercises are free too: you log in with our Telegram bot, with no password, and your progress is saved on every device.
How your band is estimated
Listening and Reading estimates take your share of right answers, scale it to 40 questions and look it up in the published Academic band tables. The Writing and Speaking questions in the lessons are multiple choice, so they show your language knowledge for the task, not a real Writing or Speaking band. Every estimate is a guide from a few questions, never an official score.
Your data
Your ticks, XP and mock scores are saved in this browser. When you log in, your progress is also kept on our server so it follows you to your other devices. We count visits and answers to improve the lessons, without cookies and without recording your screen.
Not an official IELTS site
IELTS is owned by the British Council, IDP IELTS and Cambridge University Press & Assessment. IELTS Road to 9 is an independent course: it is not connected with them, and they have not approved or endorsed it.
